Cookie Policy

What cookies masjidi.co.uk uses, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: July 2026. This policy is a working draft for the launch of masjidi.co.uk and should be reviewed by your legal adviser before going live.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work in comparable ways; we refer to them all as “cookies” here.

2. How we use them

Masjidi uses cookies sparingly, and only in three categories. Strictly necessary cookies keep the donation flow working — for example maintaining a secure session while a payment is processed. Payment cookiesare set by Stripe, our payment processor, to process transactions securely and prevent fraud; these are governed by Stripe's own policies. Preference cookies remember simple choices such as a dismissed notice.

3. What we don't do

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell data derived from cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

4. Your choices

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary or payment cookies may prevent donations from completing. Where consent is required for any non-essential cookie, we will ask for it before setting it.

5. More information

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data generally, or contact hello@masjidi.co.uk with any question.
