Why “My Masjid”

Masjidi is the Arabic possessive — مسجدي, 'my masjid'. We chose the name because that's how people speak about the place they pray: not a masjid, but mine.

Our Story

Between the bucket and the bank statement

Every masjid in Britain runs on generosity — and most of that generosity still travels through buckets, envelopes and volunteers counting coins after Isha. Meanwhile the people giving have stopped carrying cash entirely.

Masjidi was built to close that gap without asking committees to become technology companies. One QR code, funds kept separate by intention, Gift Aid claimed automatically, and every penny landing directly in the masjid's own account — with records a treasurer can hand straight to an auditor.

Masjidi is owned and operated by TRUSTCOVE LIMITED, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17293276), and reached at hello@masjidi.co.uk.

Community first

We build for the committee volunteer doing this after work, the donor giving quietly, and the imam who just wants the tech to disappear. If a feature doesn't serve them, it doesn't ship.

Amanah as a design principle

Donations are a trust. That's why funds settle directly to the masjid, records are immutable, and we never touch the money — the architecture itself enforces the amanah.

Built for UK reality

Gift Aid rules, HMRC schedules, charity governance, GDPR — the unglamorous British details are exactly where Masjidi does the most work, so your committee doesn't have to.
